PRODUCT DIVERSION

Let me start off by prefacing with a concern I have in our industry. In my years as a hairdresser, I have had the privilege of working with many great product lines. In these years, I have noticed something happening more and more that is very disheartening. Professional salon products are being diverted to grocery stores and other non-salon establishments. This is sad because it is taking business away from our industry. In addition, these other suppliers don’t have anyone on staff that can help you choose the right product for your hair, plus most of the time the price is exactly what you would pay at the salon! While I realize that as a consumer, convenience is very important in our busy hectic lifestyles, if you don’t desperately need product at that moment, please wait and buy it from your stylist or neighborhood salon. I would like to thank you for taking the time to read about the diversion and any part you can play in helping our fight will be much appreciated.
